The book does a great job at easing you into concepts and before you know it the you’ll be doing a bunch of things you couldn’t dream of doing before. Personally my problem with some tutorial video programs is that they try and squeeze too much into a video that it’s overwhelming to a beginner. Yeah they can add new features from year to year, but at it’s core most of the books that aren’t severely outdated made by Adobe on Photoshop can teach you almost everything you’d want to know. When I started learning the book I had was a two years behind what was then the current version of software. Who better to learn from than the creators of the software itself? If the $56 is a stretch, any book from the same series on Photoshop made within the past few years will suffice and can probably be found on eBay. I watched this class and found the basic information on printing quite useful.They are part of the “Classroom in a Book” series by Adobe.
